Introduction: A Journey Beyond the Ordinary
Some writings remain quietly within us, waiting for the right moment to be revisited. I wrote Feelings of Fullness about five years ago, during a time when my thoughts were wandering beyond the boundaries of everyday life.
This poem reflects on the mysterious connection between the heart, the mind and the soul – how inner peace can gradually transform into a deeper sense of understanding, strength and freedom. From the tenderness of love, the journey expands toward the vastness of the universe, where the boundaries between the earthly and the eternal seem to disappear.
Perhaps “fullness” is not about possessing more, but about reaching a state of understanding where the heart feels complete, the mind feels liberated, and worldly desires begin to lose their hold.
Five years later, I find myself returning to these thoughts once again. And perhaps that is the beauty of writing—sometimes, when we revisit our own words, they speak to us differently.
The Poem
Touching the soul with the heart,
Relaxes the brain cells; And
Free them from worries and anxieties!
You get the feelings of fullness!
Looking through the brain cells,
Generate power deep inside!
Power, with its extreme nature,
Develop the urge to conquer!
Conquer the feelings of fullness,
For year after year to light years,
Sprinkling the blessings of love,
All over the celestial universe!
Breathing the journey to eternity,
Makes fly high to the firmament!
Roaming around Polaris, Pleiades,
Coming back or not to planet Earth!
Finite life, after a pause, gets lost,
In this fullness of understanding;
Mind gets the senses of hugeness,
Giving away the worldly temptations!
A Journey Toward Wholeness
Feelings of Fullness is, at its heart, a journey from within to beyond.
The poem begins with an intimate connection between the heart and the soul. When the two meet, the restless mind begins to loosen its grip on worries and anxieties. From that inner stillness emerges something more powerful, a sense of strength, awakening and the desire to rise above our limitations.
But the journey does not remain confined within the individual. The feeling of fullness gradually expands through love. It moves outward, beyond the boundaries of ordinary human experience, toward an imagined universe filled with light, stars and eternity. The references to Polaris and the Pleiades transform the poem into a cosmic journey, where the distance between the human soul and the universe seems almost to disappear.
Perhaps the most profound movement comes at the end. After travelling through thoughts of eternity and the vastness of existence, the finite human life appears momentarily small. The mind begins to understand that worldly temptations may not be the measure of a fulfilled life. There is another kind of abundance – one born from understanding, inner freedom and a sense of connection with something far greater than ourselves.
Five years after writing this poem, I can see it not simply as a reflection on happiness, but as a reflection on wholeness: the quiet moment when the heart, mind and soul seem to move in the same direction.
Perhaps that is what fullness ultimately means, not having everything, but understanding what is truly enough.
Beyond the Boundaries
Perhaps the fullness we seek is not found in the things we gather, but in the depth of understanding we discover within ourselves. When the heart finds peace and the mind embraces the vastness of existence, even a finite life can touch the infinite through love, imagination and inner freedom.
And so, the journey continues, beyond the self, beyond the world, toward eternity.
